Premier League Chelsea have agreed a deal with Brazilian club Fluminense for highly-rated full-back Wallace. The youngster will join the Blues in the January transfer window. However, the 18 year-old will remain with his current club for the rest of the domestic season.
Wallace was part of the Brazilian under-17 team that won their respective championship and looks to have a bright future in the game. The full-back only made his debut for Flu’s first team earlier this year, but the youngster helped his side win the Rio State League.
Wallace is currently part of the Brazilian under-20 side and is regarded as an heir apparent to Maicon and Daniel Alves in the full Brazilian national side at right-back. Wallace won’t be short of compatriots at Stamford Bridge, with David Luiz, Ramires, Oscar and Lucas Piazon all currently on the books at the European Champions.
