Latest press rumours indicate that Chelsea might be interested in a summer swoop for Roman Pavlyuchenko. The Russian striker, who moved from Spartak Moscow to England last summer, has not featured regularly for Spurs this season, and Chelsea boss Hiddink, who also coaches the Russian national team, feels that he could do better at the Bridge.
Hiddink was apparently interested in David Villa, but the Valencia striker has dismissed rumours of him moving to the Blues. Again, whether this move will materialise depends on Hiddink staying in London next season. The former PSV and South Korea manager is the interim manager at Chelsea, and is not expected to stay beyond this season.
