According to reports, Manchester City are mulling over signing youngsters Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison from rivals Manchester United. Both the players are out of contract at United soon and City boss Roberto Mancini feels that they could be part of the Citizens’ squad given the right exposure and development.
City, who have not too recently acquired Man Utd players in the form of Owen Hargreaves and Carlos Tevez, will however be liable to pay United compensation costs due to an existing FIFA ruling, despite the move being technically a free transfer.
Pogba has reportedly hired Mino Raiola, who also manages City star Mario Balotelli, as he prepares to negotiate fresh terms in 2012 with United.
