Northampton Town have completed the signing of Ben Harding from Wycombe Wanderers. Wycombe had initially loaned Harding to the Cobblers on New Years’ Eve till the end of the season but the two clubs decided to make the deal permanent after reaching upon a suitable, undisclosed transfer fee. Harding has now signed an eighteen month contract at Sixfields.
Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd said that he had been hugely impressed with the midfielder’s performances and added that he was just the kind of character the club needed going forward.
Harding started his career at Wimbledon and has also represented MK Dons, Forest Green Rovers, Aldershot Town and Grays Athletic.
