Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of winger Slawomir Peszko on loan from German outfit Cologne. Peszko moves to Molineux for a season long switch with a view to completing a permanent transfer later and the move reunites him with current Wolves boss Stale Solbakken, who managed him at Koln last season.
Peszko is a versatile player who can operate on both wings. He started off last season well but his form plummeted during the second half of the season, resulting in the 24 times internationally capped player missing out on a spot in Poland’s Euro 2012 squad.
Peszko has been signed as a replacement for Michael Kightly, who has opted for a return to the Premier League by signing with Stoke.
