Coventry City have signed midfielder Michael McIndoe for an undisclosed fee from Bristol City. The 29 year old Scottish midfielder has put pen to paper a two year deal at the Ricoh Arena.
McIndoe joined Bristol City from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a three year contract in July 2007. He made 89 appearances for the Robins, and scored 12 goals in his two year stint at Ashton Gate.
Last month, Bristol had accepted a £500,000 offer from Sheffield United for McIndoe, but the deal fell through because the Blades could not finance the deal.
Coventry boss Chris Coleman declared himself delighted with the signing, and said that McIndoe was “just the kind of player he was looking for.”
