Championship side Coventry City have sign AFC Wimbledon youngster Chris Hussey on loan with a view to a permanent deal. The 20 year-old was believed to be attracting interest from a host of Championship sides but City boss Chris Coleman impressed him with his plans for the club. The left-back has made over 80 appearances for AFC and is highly rated.
He will be on loan at the Ricoh Arena till the January transfer window when he can sign a permanent contract. The youngster was formerly with Woking and Coleman is delighted to have signed the youngster.
He told clubs official website: “There has been no secret about the fact that several clubs were trying to sign Chris, so we are delighted he has opted to come to Coventry City. He is a very promising young left-back and we believe he has a bright future with us.”
Coventry have also sign young Carlisle United striker Gary Madine on loan until the January transfer window. He could also sign a permanent deal if he impresses in the Midlands. The 19 year-old has made over 30 appearances for United and has also been linked with moves to Championship and League One sides.
