Bolton manager Owen Coyle is weighing up a move for Spurs’ Mexican starlet Giovani dos Santos. Former Barca prodigy Dos Santos is disillusioned with the lack of first team football in North London and has been wanting to leave the Lilywhites for a while now. Coyle is reportedly ready to use the cash generated by Gary Cahill’s imminent move to Chelsea in order to bring Dos Santos to the Reebok.
Spurs have valued Dos Santos at £8m, a figure that Coyle reportedly values too high. Coyle had once tried to sign Dos Santos on loan when he was manager of Burnley.
Spurs have already rejected a bid around the £3.5m from La Liga outfit Sevilla for Dos Santos.
