Croatia midfielder Danijel Pranjic has said that he is very close to completing a switch to Everton. Pranjic is currently a free agent after being released by Champions League finalists Bayern Munich and is currently adding the finishing touches to his switch to Goodison Park. He came close to signing for the Toffes in the January transfer window, frustrated with the lack of game time at Bayern, but the Bavarian giants didn’t allow him to go.
Pranjic, who has also played for Dinamo Zagreb and Heerenveen, is a regular for the Croatian national football team, and was part of both their Euro 2008 and Euro 2012 squads. He is primarily a left sided midfielder who can also play further behind at full back if required.
