Aston Villa’s Nathan Delfouneso has agreed to join Leicester City on a month long loan. Delfouneso, whom manager Alex McLeish agreed to let go of after the arrival of Robbie Keane, trained with his Leicester team mates yesterday. The deal’s not officially been announced but the youngster could make his Foxes debut as early as today evening when the Foxes play Southampton.
The 20 year old Delfouneso has represented England at various youth levels and can play both as a striker or an attacking winger. Born in Birmingham, he is a product of the Villa youth academy and made his European debut for them aged just 17.
However appearances have become tough for Delfouneso this season- he has started only twice under new gaffer Alex McLeish.
