The agent of Newcastle striker Demba Ba has revealed that the frontman doesn’t understand the decisions of the Newcastle management. Ba was left on the bench for Monday night’s visit to Everton, only to come on at half-time to rescue a point with two goals.
When Ba first arrived in the North East last season he went on a hot scoring run which saw him top the Premier League scoring charts. However, since the arrival of compatriot Papiss Cisse Ba has had to play second fiddle to his Senegalese international teammate.
At times last season he was played out of position on the left wing, but he wasn’t as effective on the wing as playing as a central striker. Ba’s agent stated if he is kept on the substitute’s bench much longer then he will have to look at other solutions for his client. There would be no shortage of takers for 27 year-old should he become available this January.
