Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt has revealed that German Bundesliga outfit Hamburger SV are interested in securing his services. Kuyt struggled to hold down a regular first team place at Liverpool last season under Kenny Dalglish much to the amazement of several fans, who have always admired the Dutchman for his excellent work ethic.
Kuyt has said that he was flattered to be linked with a move to Hamburg but said he would take a decision on his future after Euro 2012. A fans favourite at Anfield, Kuyt is also said to be waiting to see who the Fenway Sports Group appoint as Liverpool’s new manager following the latter’s decision to part ways with Dalglish earlier this month following a disappointing league campaign.
Kuyt joined Liverpool in 2006 from Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord and is expected to play a key role for Holland at Euro 2012.
