Borussia Dortmund have snapped up promising attacker Damien Le Tallec from Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais for an undisclosed fee. Damien is the brother of former Liverpool player Anthony Le Tallec, who currently plies his trade for Le Mans in the French first division.
Le Tallec becomes BvB’s third attacking signing of the summer, after Energie Cottbus’ Dimitar Rangelov and Colo-Colo’s Lucas Barrios.
Le Tallec has put pen to paper a three year deal with the Bundesliga outfit. The 19 year old started his career with Le Havre like his brother before moving to Rennes in 2005. He has played at U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-19 levels for the French national team.
