Reports in the media have linked Arsenal’s right back Emmanuel Eboue with a switch to Turkish giants Galatasaray. The Guardian reports that Eboue, who gave away a last gasp penalty against Liverpool last season that effectively ended Arsenal’s title hopes, may switch clubs for a reported £4m.
Eboue is now deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield and is one of the several players expected to leave the Emirates as Arsene Wenger begins his clear out. Eboue’s team mate Gael Clichy has already left the club while Denilson has been loaned out. According to reports reserve team player Jay Emmanuel Thomas could also leave soon, with Ipswich Town expect to land his services for a reported £1m fee.
