According to Sky Sports, European giants Bayern Munich and Barcelona are set to battle it out for Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny. The 27-year-old impressed with his displays at the heart of the Arsenal, as Gunners started to look more solid at the back.
Koscielny is rated in the £15million region, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will not want to lose the French international coming off the back of his best season at the Emirates Stadium. Koscielny’s agent has revealed that there are three or four clubs interested in signing the defender this summer.
European champions Bayern Munich and Spanish champions Barcelona are both long-term admirers of the French ace and could make a move for him this summer.
Elsewhere, former-Arsenal transfer target Toby Alderweireld looks set to secure a move to Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen from Ajax. The centre-back has been linked with a move to Arsenal for a number of years and plays alongside Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen in the Belgium national side.
Liverpool and Tottenham are also showing an interest in the versatile star, but negotiations with Leverkusen are now at an advanced stage.
