Premier League Everton look set to sign highly-rated young Caen striker M’Baye Niang. The youngster enjoyed a trial spell on Merseyside and the Toffee’s are reported to have made a £2.3million bid for the 17 year-old.
Niang has already had trial spells at AC Milan and Arsenal in recent months. Both sides clubs were keen on tying up a deal, but couldn’t agree a fee with his French club. Caen were relegated from the French top flight and are now considering the Toffee’s bid for their prize asset.
Meanwhile Italian giants AC Milan are believed to be eying up Arsenal midfielder Denilson. The Brazilian midfielder is currently on-loan at Sao Paulo in his homeland, but could cancel that arrangement to join the Serie A outfit.
AC Milan have lost of a host of central midfielders this summer, with the likes of Clarence Seedorf and Gino Gattuso leaving for pastures new. The Rossoneri are now looking at strengthening their midfield and Denilson has emerged as a potential target.
