According to today’s tabloids, Everton are about to make moves for Chelsea winger Victor Moses and Wigan schemer James McCarthy. Victor Moses prospered at Wigan under Toffees boss Roberto Martinez, but the youngster has struggled to cement a regular place in the Chelsea side since moving to London.
A loan deal with the option of a permanent deal has been mooted, which may suit all parties involved.
Wigan value central midfielder McCarthy in the £20million bracket, while the Toffees are believed to value the Republic of Ireland ace at around £12million. Both clubs could have to compromise for the deal to go through.
