Nottingham Forest have received a bid for defender Wes Morgan from league rivals Leicester City. Morgan, a key figure at the City Ground, is out of contract in the summer and Forest may be willing to get something out of the deal instead of losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
Leicester had made a £500,000 bid for Morgan last week but had it rejected by Forest and have now come up with an improved bid for the 27 year old.
Morgan has been with Forest for all his playing career, barring one small spell on loan at Kidderminster Harriers, and has gone on to make over 350 appearances at the City Ground.
