Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the transfer of Algerian medio Adlene Guedioura. The 26 year old thus becomes new Forest manager Sean O’Driscoll’s first signing of the summer. Guedioura is a known figure to fans at the Forest Ground, having played for them on loan in the latter half of the 2011/12 season. He turned in some memorable performances, including a screamer in the club’s 7-3 away win at Leeds that later won the goal of the season award at Forest.
Guedioura had a year left on his contract at Wolves, whom he joined on a permanent basis from Belgian club Charleroi in the summer of 2010 after initially impressing on loan.
He was also part of the Algerian squad that faced England at the 2010 World Cup
