Derby County have completed the signing of striker Nathan Tyson from rivals Nottingham Forest. The 29 year old Tyson called his switch to Pride Park as the most important one of his career and has signed a three year contract that will keep him with the Rams till 2014.
Tyson was looking for a new club after failing to agree new contract terms with Forest, who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premiership this season. Apart from Derby, several clubs were interested in signing the pacy forward, with Millwall, Ipswich, Barnsley and Hull City all wanting him on their books.
Tyson joined Forest from Wycombe Wanderers in 2006. Prior to Wycombe, he played for Reading and also had loan spells at Maidenhead United, Swansea and Cheltenham.
