Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has joined Glasgow Rangers on loan till the end of the season. The Welsh star, unwanted at Juventus, has opted to move to the Scottish champions despite interest from several other clubs- the likes of Wolves, Everton, Palace and Newcastle were all keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
Ramsey had joined Juve back in 2019 after over a decade with Arsenal where he made over 350 appearances for the Gunners. However, he was used sparingly by the Bianconeri and only played 5 games for them across all competitions in the current season.
Apart from Ramsey, the Gers also confirmed the signing of Mateusz Zukowski from Lechia Gdansk on a permanent deal. The young right back has put pen to paper a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Scottish giants. He has been capped by Poland at various youth levels
Rangers lead the Scottish Premier League by two points at the time of writing. Their next clash is a blockbuster one against Old Firm rivals Celtic- victory for the latter could see them leapfrog the Gers at the top of the table. They will also play Borussia Dortmund in the playoff round of the Europa League.
