Former Liverpool youngster Victor Palsson has left Scottish Premier League outfit Hibernian by mutual consent. Palsson, who arrived at Easter Road from Anfield in January 2011, originally signed an eighteen month deal that was due to run till the end of the current season, but both parties decide to terminate the contract six months in advance.
Palsson made 34 appearances for Hibs and scored a single goal for the club. The Icelandic defensive midfielder has also previously had a loan stint at Dagenham and Redbridge.
Of mixed Portuguese-Icelandic descent, Palsson joined Liverpool from Danish outfit AGF in 2009. He has also represented Iceland at youth levels, but is yet to win a cap for the senior team.
