Leicester City have agreed a fee with fellow Championship outfit Doncaster Rovers for the transfer of striker Billy Sharp. The announcement regarding the transfer was made by Doncaster late last night. Leicester have now been given permission to discuss terms with Sharp and the striker will make a final decision regarding the transfer in the next few days.
Doncaster signed Sharp from Sheffield United for a then record £1.15m fee in July 2010. Leicester have reportedly agreed to pay Donny £3m for his services.
The 25 year old Sharp, who has already netted ten times for Donny this season, missed their FA Cup game against Notts County yesterday.
