Fulham are lining up a permanent deal to sign young Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong in the summer. The youngster is highly-rated and is currently on-loan at Craven Cottage. The Ghanaian midfielder only made his debut in the Cottagers 2-2 weekend draw at Sunderland, but boss Martin Jol has admitted that he would be willing to sign the young midfielder on long-term contract.
Frimpong has been unfortunate with injuries in his short career. In the last three years he has sustained two cruciate ligaments injuries which have set his career back. He will be hoping to get some games under his belt before the season finishes.
The 21 year-old has also had stints out on-loan at Charlton and Wolves, but both spells were interrupted by those aforementioned injuries. Arsenal wouldn’t want to lose the talented youngster as he is a bit of a crowd favourite already, even though he has only made fleeting appearances for the first team. The decision may lay with the player himself.
