Fulham boss Martin Jol is reportedly weighing up a move for Tottenham midfielder David Bentley. The Cottagers reportedly want to take Bentley, who suffered a serious knee injury in his stint at West Ham United last season, on loan, but are also open to the idea of a permanent transfer for a low price fee.
Bentley was linked earlier in the summer with a move to Fulham’s London neighbours Queens Park Rangers. The R’s are currently managed by Mark Hughes, the man with whom Bentley enjoyed most of his success at Blackburn Rovers before his switch to White Hart Lane four years ago.
Bentley has a year left on his current contract at the Lane.
