Premier League Fulham are close to completing the signing of Sunderland’s versatile star Kieran Richardson. The North East club have accepted a bid of £2million for the full-back/winger and he is expected in London to discuss personal terms and have a medical later this evening.
Richardson has won England caps and is hoping to finalise a move to Fulham to be closer to his family. Fulham have been busy today in the transfer market, after they agreed a £4million deal for Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The Bulgarian striker is believed to have passed his medical and should sign before the transfer window shuts on Friday night. Fulham could still make more moves in the transfer market. The Cottagers sold Belgian midfielder Moussa Dembele to Tottenham for £15million earlier this week and are still on the lookout for fresh recruits.
