Premier League Fulham have signed Arsenal youngster Emmanuel Frimpong on-loan for the rest of the season. The 21 year-old is highly-rated and showed some of his promise when he first broke into the first team at the Emirates.
However, his chances in the first team have been limited of late and the midfielder was loaned out last season and earlier this season. Frimpong has endured injuries problems already in his short career so far, but will be hoping this move will re-ignite his career.
The Cottagers are also trying to bring in Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone. Fulham are believed to be interested in taking the former-Forest midfielder on-loan in a similar deal to Frimpong.
Like Frimpong, Huddlestone hasn’t always been first choice for his club this season, although the England international midfielder has made 19 appearances this season. Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas doesn’t want to get rid of the midfielder, but he is more likely to get regular first team football at Craven Cottage.
