Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly weighing up a £8m bid for Liverpool’s Dutch forward Kuyt. The 31 year old, highly regarded at Liverpool for his versatility ( he’s often played on the right flank) and industrious nature, hasn’t been at his best in recent times at Anfield and Gala are prepared to offer him a change in pastures.
Kuyt joined Liverpool from Dutch Eredivisie team Feyenoord in 2006. He still has a year and a half to go on his current contract at Anfield.
Despite being one of Liverpool’s most consistent performers since his arrival from De Kuip, Kuyt has found his playing time restricted this season under Kenny Dalglish after the Scot made a number of midfield signings in the summer window.
