According to reports from Germany Bayer Leverkusen attacker Andre Schurrle is close to completing a big money move to the Premier League with Chelsea. The 22 year-old striker is highly-rated throughout Europe and has found the net 11 times in the Bundesliga.
A deal for Schurrle could involve Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who has enjoyed a good season on-loan in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen. Former-German champions Dortmund are also interested in signing the Belgium international youngster.
Bayer Leverkusen general manager Wolfgang Holzhauser has already revealed that he believes a deal will be concluded and De Bruyne could be involved in any potential deal. The Leverkusen head honcho has also revealed that the German club have received an offer from the Blues.
A move for Schurrle could depend on the arrival of a new boss. Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is the current favourite for the position, despite interest from Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Watford boss Gianfranco Zola is hopeful of keeping hold of highly-rated youngster Nathaniel Chalobah. The young midfielder has impressed at Vicarage Road on-loan this season and will be playing for the Hornets in the Championship play-offs.
Former-Blues star Zola has revealed that Watford will stand a better chance of keeping hold of the 18-year-old midfielder if they are promoted.
