Israeli international Tomer Hemed has snubbed Scottish champions Rangers in a favour of a move to La Liga outfit Mallorca. Hemed is currently a free agent after he decided not to extend his contract with Maccabi Haifa. The Gers were interested in securing his services and it was thought that the possibility of playing Champions League football would swing the deal in their favour, but it has now fallen through after the forward decided to move to Spain instead.
Hemed was the top scorer in the Israeli Premier League last season and has already been capped by Israel at senior level. He made his debut against Latvia earlier this month.
