Arsenal could miss out on signing Argentinian striker Gonzalo Higuain, as according to the Daily Mail the Real Madrid striker has agreed to join Italian club Napoli in a deal worth £31.8million. The Gunners have been chasing the striker for much of the summer.
However, it seems they have been beaten to the striker’s signature by the Azzurri. Higuain has revealed his liking for the Premier League in the past, but it looks like he could be playing in Serie A next season.
Missing out on Higuain would mean Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger turning his attentions elsewhere in his search for a new front man.
