Fernando Llorente will play in Italy beginning next season after domestic giants Juventus announced that he would be joining them in July this year following the expiry of his contract with Athletic Bilbao. The lanky forward was touted as a possible target for both Spurs and Arsenal but Juve appear to have stolen a march over both the London clubs.
Llorente was part of the Spain squad that won the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012 and has put pen to paper a four year deal at Juve.
Llorent had a great 11-12 season with Bilbao, scoring close to 30 goals as the club reached the finals of the Spanish Kings Cup and the Europa League before losing out to Barcelona and Atletico respectively.
