Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly mulling over a bid for unsettled Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas in the summer. The Gunners have struggled to have a solid player under the stick in recent times and Wenger is now considering a swoop for Casillas, who has had a turbulent 2012/13 season at Real Madrid, first falling out with manager Jose Mourinho and then suffering an injury that has seen him spend some frustrating weeks on the sidelines.
However the Gunners are not the only club said to be interested in Casillas, with Liverpool also eyeing him as a replacement for Pepe Reina.
The rumour mills have also linked Wenger with moves for Sunderland’s Simon Mignolet and Stoke City’s Asmir Begovic.
