Real Mallorca have revealed that West Ham United have reached an agreement with them for the transfer of defender Ivan Ramis. While nothing on the transfer has been forthcoming from the side of the Hammers, the Balearic Islanders made the announcement on their official website. They did not specify the transfer fee involved but said that Ramis was free to have a medical and discuss personal terms with the Upton Park outfit.
The 27 year old Ramis is a product of Mallorca’s youth system and has been with them all throughout his professional life. If the transfer does go through, it will be his first football stint outside Spain.
While Ramis have never won a senior cap for Spain, he has been capped by them at youth levels.
