West Ham United have revealed that they have an agreement with Liverpool for the permanent transfer of striker Andy Carroll at the end of the season. The news was made public by Hammers co owner David Sullivan, who mentioned in an interview that the London outfit had an agreement with Liverpool for Carroll’s permanent transfer, but they had not agreed personal terms yet with the lanky forward. Carroll joined West Ham on loan at the beginning of the season from the Reds.
Sullivan also mentioned that Liverpool had an option to recall Carroll in the recently concluded winter transfer window, but said the Reds had not exercised that option because of the striker’s injuries.
