West Ham centre-back Winston Reid is believed to be attracting the attention of the big boys in England and Italy. The New Zealand international has been superb at the back for the Irons this season, as West Ham have climbed to sixth place in the Premier League table.
Reid joined West Ham in 2010 from Danish club Midtjylland and struggled to adapt to English football at first. However, his form started to improve last season and his performances this season have attracted attention from bigger clubs in Europe.
West Ham are believed to be looking to offer Reid a new contract to stave off interest from elsewhere. The Hammers look set to offer Reid a major wage hike to keep him in the East End. However, the lure of a bigger wage elsewhere and the possibility of playing in European competition could be too much of a lure for Reid.
