Highly-rated Lille youngster Eden Hazard has revealed that if he was going to leave the club it would be Arsenal or Real Madrid. The 19 year-old has impressed for the French side in the Europa League and is rated as one of the hottest properties in European football. He has also helped Lille fight for the Ligue One title.
The Belgian international scored against Premier League side Liverpool earlier this season and is being tracked by a lot of the major European clubs.
French football legend Zinedine Zidane has been impressed by the youngster. He told the media: “He can become a great footballer. He is a star of the future.”
Hazard was delighted with Zidane’s comments and revealed that Real Madrid and Arsenal are two of his potential destinations. He said: “Such praise makes me very happy, especially from Zidane. If one day I leave Lille, I will go to Real or Arsenal.”
Hazard won the French Young Player of the Year last season, becoming the first ever foreigner to win the award. However he is unlikely to be happy with just Ligue One football and is likely to move to a bigger league in the near future.
