Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is believed to be interested in having a second-loan spell at his former-club in January. However, New York Red Bulls are very reluctant to allow the former-French international to make a loan move.
Henry’s America club are looking for the 35 year-old to rest in the MLS off-season and come back stronger in the new campaign. Neither Henry nor Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out another spell in North London though.
The Red Bulls new sporting director Andy Roxburgh has not completely ruled the move out, but he has said that it’s unlikely that any of the franchises players will be leaving on loan in January. Former-Everton hero Tim Cahill has also been linked with a short-term move back to Merseyside from New York.
However, the Aussie has told press it’s not up to him whether he makes the move or not. It’s down to the two clubs coming to an agreement.
