Valencia’s attacking midfielder Pablo Hernandez is being linked with a £18million move to Premier League Chelsea. Los Ches are in major financial trouble and will have to sell one of their top assets this summer. The club are expected to sell Spanish internationals David Villa and David Silva.
However it’s emerged that Hernandez could also exit the Mestalla this summer. Talks are due to take place on the players future at the end of the season. The 25 year-old has impressed for Valencia as they have challenged for a Champions League spot. With the likes of Silva and Villa set to leave then Los Ches will surely be looking to keep the talented midfielder at the club.
They are currently third in La Liga and look set to seal a place in Europe’s top football competition next season. His agent Mario Parri has confirmed that other clubs have enquired about his clients services.
He told the News of the World: “Pablo has had such a sensational year. There is talking to be done at the end of the season and while there has been interest from many clubs, Valencia have received no formal offers yet.”
