Blackburn Rovers are waiting on an offer from QPR for youngster Junior Hoilett. The 22 year-old is out of contract, but Rovers will be due compensation for the youngster as a developmental fee. Should the clubs not be able to agree a fee then the transfer will go to a tribunal.
Rovers are expecting a big fee for the highly-rated youngster though, but are believed to be interested in taking Hoops striker Jamie Mackie in part-exchange.
Elsewhere, Premier League West Brom have taken Argentinian international Claudio Yacob on their tour of Scandinavia. The 25 year-old is hoping to win a permanent contract with the Baggies.
The 25 year-old currently plays his football in his homeland with Racing Club and has won three caps for his national side.
Meanwhile, it looks as though the Baggies neighbours Aston Villa have missed out on signing Holland international Ron Vlaar, after the Feyenoord defender confirmed that he is to stay in Rotterdam.
