Dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar is looking to resurrect his career with a move to the Barclays Premier League. The 26 year old who was a prolific goalscorer with Ajax moved to Real Madrid in Spain where he spent just one season before being shunted out to AC Milan. Huntelaar could not create any great impact with the Rossoneri either scoring just seven times in 25 games. After just one season in the Serie A, the striker is looking to move to England.
Huntelaar has already been offered to Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester City by his current employers. The new Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has indicated that the Dutchman is not in his plans. Aston Villa may need Huntelaar’s services if John Carew leaves the club but they are unlikely to agree to his £70,000-a-week wage demands. Manchester City are targeting Balotelli and Dzeko ; hence it’s unlikely that they move for Huntelaar. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is a big fan of the tall Dutch striker and White Hart Lane could be his most likely destination.
