According to reports in the Italian media, Juventus are planning to bolster their ranks with the winter acquisitions of Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott from Tottenham and Arsenal respectively. The Bianconeri have identified their wings as a cause for concern and are hoping to land either Bale or Walcott, if not both, in January.
Bale’s transfer fee is likely to be a big deterrent and if Spurs continue their current form, the Welsh winger is unlikely to desire a move to Serie A. Walcott is however viewed as the more achievable transfer target of the two and Juve are prepared to offer Milos Krasic in exchange to the Gunners to sweeten the deal.
Krasic was once tracked by Arsenal when he was a star at CSKA, but the floppy haired Serb hasn’t quite lived up to expectations in Turin.
