Juventus have officially confirmed the signing of Manchester United’s young teenage star Paul Pogba, thereby ending rumours regarding the player’s future. French teen Pogba, considered to be one of the brightest upcoming prospects at Old Trafford, has put pen to paper a four year contract with the reigning Serie A champions.
Pogba joined United from Le Havre in 2009 but featured only a handful of times for the Red Devils and leaves the club in somewhat acrimonious circumstances after months of speculation regarding whether or not he would pen a new deal with Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
Pogba has been capped by France at various youth levels and led his country to the semifinals of the 2010 Euro U17 championship in Liechtenstein. Despite Pogba scoring a goal, the French lost their last four clash 2-1 to England, who eventually went on to beat Spain in the final.
