Seydou Keita could be set to follow Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka to China after parting company with his current club Barcelona. Los Cules made the announcement that Malian international Keita, 32, had decided to leave the Nou Camp after picking up fourteen trophies in four years with the club. Keita reportedly had a clause in his contract that allowed him to leave on a free if he did not play in a certain amount of games per season and according to Spanish media sources, he has activated it to facilitate his release from the club.
Keita is now expected to join Dalian Sherbin in the Chinese Super League, ending nearly a decade and a half of professional football in Europe.
