Leeds United have completed the signing of winger Lloyd Sam on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic. The 25 year old has signed a two year contract with the Whites and becomes Simon Grayson’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
Sam, who was born in Leeds, joined Charlton in 2003. He also had loan spells at Leyton Orient, Sheffield Wednesday and Southend United in his time with the Addicks.
Leeds will compete in the Championship this season after winning promotion from League One. Charlton reached the semifinals of the playoffs before losing to Swindon.
