Leeds have complete the signing of midfielder Mika Vayrynen on a free transfer. The medio becomes the second Finnish arrival at Elland Road this summer following the signing of former Birmingham and Chelsea striker Mikael Forssell. Vayrynen was a free agent after leaving Heerenveen last season and Whites boss Simon Grayson has swooped to lend solidity to his side’s midfield.
Vayrynen has signed an initial one year contract at Leeds with the option of a twelve month extension.
Vayrynen is a regular with the Finnish national team, having made over 50 appearances for them. He has played for a host of clubs in his career and can play as both an attacking and defensive midfielder.
