League One leaders Leicester City have signed Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale on a one month loan. Foxes boss Nigel Pearson was left with a minor crisis after Blackburn Rovers activated their recall clause and asked Mark Bunn to return to St.Andrews. With regular keeper David Martin still unavailable to play, the Foxes looked at the Premiership, and their answer came in the form of Stockdale. Pearson expressed his thanks, praising Fulham for allowing Stockdale to join the Foxes at such short notice.
The 23 year old Stockdale joined Fulham from Darlington in the summer of 2008. He is expected to make his debut for the Foxes when they take on Stockport County at the Walkers Stadium on Tuesday night.
