League two side Lincoln City have snapped up midfielder Michael O’Connor on a one month loan deal. The Northern Ireland international joins the Imps from Crewe Alexandra.
21 year old O’Connor has made twenty nine appearances for Crewe this season, and was also their skipper at the beginning of the season. The Belfast born midfielder is an effective tackler, and is expected to fill the void left by Lee Frecklington’s departure to Posh.
Edit- O’Connor made his debut in the Lincolnshire derby against relegation candidates Grimsby Town.
Grimsby won 5-1, with Adam Proudlock scoring a hat trick.
O’Connor made his Imps debut as a 63rd minute substitute for Shane Clarke.
