Liverpool are being linked with a double £22million swoop for Ajax pair Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld. The Reds received a boost with Ajax boss Frank de Boer admitting that he would not stand in Eriksen’s way if he wished to move on to bigger things.
Roma have also registered an interest in the Danish international midfielder, who has just a year left on his contract in the Dutch capital. Alderweireld meanwhile recently turned down a move to Norwich.
The Canaries were prepared to pay £6.9million for the highly-rated defender. However, the player decided it was not the right move.
