It has been reported that Liverpool have already made a bid for Southampton captain Adam Lallana. Lallana who is expecting to be included in the England squad for the 2014 Brazil World cup, has been in fine form for Southampton this season, scoring 10 goals in 42 matches for the Saints.
It is believed that Lallana would welcome a move as he said he has aspirations to play at a higher level – “I’m ambitious. I want to one day play in the Champions League,” said Lallana.
Southampton could also lose another star player as Luke Shaw is being linked with a move away from St Mary’s with Manchester United reported to have bid £27m for the young left-back sensation.
